Justification by Faith or Works: Did James and Paul Disagree? (74)

  • James: "You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone." (James 2:24)
  • Paul: "For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law." (Romans 3:28)

Mike Kapler and Joel Brueseke from the Growing in Grace podcast join me in this episode as we examine the topic of justification. Is our justification by faith alone as Paul said or is it a combination of faith and works as James said? Did James and Paul disagree on this important subject of justification? Listen in as we open the scriptures and compare the writings of both James and Paul concerning justification as well as the historical accounts dealing with this topic recorded in Acts 15, Acts 21, and Galatians.
